7 June 2009. CO.ME.CA. S.p.A., celebrates 40 years of business!

To celebrate 40 years since its foundation, CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. opened its doors for the Open Day “COMECA, COME a CAsa” which allowed it to share this important moment with all its friends, employees, clients, suppliers and their families, in all about 600 people. The day was divided into two parts: the morning was spent at the plant in Lonato del Garda, where the guests and their families where welcomed and participated in the Mass celebrated by priest Gianni Guandalini and sung by 30 elements of the Coro della Basilica choir directed by Maestro Claudio Gavelli.
The first part ended with the most important moment of the day: guided tours around the divisions, led by the employees who, thanks to the effort put into the organisation and their years of experience, were able to demonstrate the company processes to their guests.
Following an aperitif the guests made their way to the Rocca Visconteo Veneta in Lonato for lunch, and to enjoy a wide range of entertainment, like the concert by Charlie Cinelli with 50 musicians and the visit to the Casa del Podestà. A special area was set aside for the children, with entertainers and educational workshops held by volunteers from the local cultural association “Friends of the Ugo da Como Foundation”, where they could learn while having fun.
