Welding, cutting and bending, painting and sandblasting

CO.ME.CA. S.p.A.’s structural steel work department extends over a covered area of 7,000 sq.m. It is equipped with 2 large submersed arc welding machines, 2 CNC pantographs for cutting materials up to
200 mm, shearing machines with a cutting capacity up to 12 mm and for lengths up to 3,000 mm, one 2500 mm x 300 ton press brake, one 4000 mm x 400 ton press brake, calenders with bending capacities up to 3000 mm x 50 mm thickness with full guide, 3 bending machines for large diameter pipes and large profile sections, TIG, MIG/MAG and electrode welding machines with various powers, presses, sawing machines, cutting off machines and manipulators. The department is provided with 13 overhead travelling cranes with capacities ranging from 5 to 60 tons and suitable material handling equipment. We also have an area equipped for painting and sanding. All the welding procedures carried out by CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. are certified
by the Italian Welding Institute and one of our engineers – qualified as an INTERNATIONAL WELDING ENGINEER – guarantees and certifies the quality of all the structures we build.
