CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. has chosen to support several charitable associations in the area, as confirmation of its willingness to communicate and its openness towards the community. The activities undertaken and developed over time concern not only a purely and typically social domain but also a cultural one.

Amongst the associations that the company supports are:

THE “UGO DA COMO” FOUNDATION

For this important foundation, cultural pearl in the territory of Lonato, CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. has created, over the years, various works in iron: from the main entrance gate of the drawbridge, to the stairway that leads to the hall above the Ornithological Museum and the gate giving access from Piazza del Corlo.

FRIENDS OF THE “UGO DA COMO” FOUNDATION

CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. supports the activity of this cultural association in various ways. In particular, amongst the most interesting works developed, it has financially sustained the repair of several printing-presses, purchased an old printing-press found at the “Lonato Flea Market” and built a wood burning oven for baking the well-known “Biscotti di Isabella” biscuits that are prepared and baked during educational workshops that the association organises for local junior schools.

MADONNA DEL CORLO FOUNDATION

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the foundation of this rehabilitation and residential institute for the elderly, CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. donated all the furnishings for the meeting room in its headquarters. What is more, every year, at Christmas, the company presents the elderly guests and the staff with panettone and sparkling wine.

FRIENDS OF THE CHURCH OF S. ANTONIO ABATE

CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. has participated financially in the cost of creating the church’s new stained glass windows.

THE BASILICA DI LONATO CHOIR

The Basilica di Lonato choir is now an institution in the area. CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. has contributed in purchasing some of the uniforms.

A.V.I.S.

CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. made a substantial contribution to producing the bronze monument that was inaugurated last year in Piazza Donatori di Sangue in Lonato.

THE LONATO ALPINE GROUP

CO.ME.CA. S.p.A. feels very close to this group. So, while sharing the spirit and the values of the Alpine troops, it sustained the entire cost of the wooden window and door frames in the new headquarters.
